Katie Casey's preoccupation with clothing has been lifelong. From the age of 14 she worked in a full service costume house, putting together wardrobe for theater and small productions, drafting patterns and reproducing vintage pieces and restoring antique garments. It was there that she first learned the mechanics of design and the value of craftsmanship. Her calling inevitably led her through design school and shortly thereafter to a starting position as a flat sketcher for a contemporary label in L.A. She promptly ascended to Designer status—overseeing her own line from start to finish. Her designs have retailed at Nordstrom, Bloomingdales, Neiman Marcus and Colette among others.
As a stylist, she has provided her services for print, film, television, live performance, as a personal shopper, on the red carpet, in the art world and in marketing eCommerce. In all venues she's widely appreciated for her creative eye, strong aesthetic value and ability to problem solve. Her clear artistic sensibility has been culled from her vast knowledge of all things fashion from the past, present and FUTURE. That, coupled with a strong foundation in design and execution make her a unique and valuable asset to any project.
